The cottage is strictly a non-smoking environment, indoors or on the porches.

This picturesque, floating cottage rental provides a magical space to relax, replenish, and explore, and is located in a full-service marina cove, where the scenic St. Johns River and Lake Monroe join in Sanford, Florida. Bathed in natural light, the cottage assures glampers views of the water and surrounding forest from every nook and cranny. The forest and waterways are home to numerous wildlife species including herons, bald eagles, owls, egrets, ibis, limpkins, and numerous songbirds. Gators, deer, and raccoons are also in the immediate area.

Old Town Sanford with its historic 19th-century buildings and cobblestone streets is close by. Stroll down the streets to enjoy unique restaurants, art galleries, unique shops, and pubs. Lovely towering oaks draped with Spanish moss surround the restored Victorian homes. Nearby beaches, such as Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach on the Atlantic Ocean are less than an hour away by car. For those seeking major urban influences, the city of Orlando, Orlando International Airport, and Disney World are within an hour's drive from the marina.

The area is a delight for bird-watchers with a plethora of varieties in beautiful surroundings. Nearby Merritt Island National Refuge and the Audubon Raptor Center are each within a 90-minute drive from the cottage and offer a world of wildlife observations.
