JEE Main Hall Ticket 2023: The National Testing Agency NTA has released the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main Admit Card 2023 on January 21, 2023. The candidates who have registered for JEE Main January Session can download the admit card from the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA is scheduled to conduct the Main examination from January 24 to February 01, 2023 in two shifts - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The National Testing agency has already released the exam city intimation slip for the candidates who are going to appear in the Main Session-1 exam. JEE Main Hall Ticket: Documents required on the date of examination
(i) Print a copy of JEE Hall Ticket along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website.
(ii) One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at centre during the examination.
(iii) Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid, and non-expired) – School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
(iv) PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category OR PwD Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examination to write as per Annexure given in Information Bulletin, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.

JEE Main Exam Pattern
The Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) comprises two papers.
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It will be of 90 marks divided into 3 sections; Physics-30, Maths-30 and Chemistry-30.
Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B. Planning) is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. It will be of 82 and 105 marks respectively.

What should you do if your name on the JEE Main admit card is spelled incorrectly?
In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown in the e-Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the NTA helpline from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. In such a case, the candidate would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.

Main January Session Exam 2023
For Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2, each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B.

JEE Main Exam 2023: What is the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE 2023?
Admission to B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Planning. Courses in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the Class 12 examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the Class 12/qualifying examination. The candidate is also required to pass in each of the subjects of Class 12 / qualifying examination.

As per the official data, 14 candidates scored 100 NTA Score in JEE Main Session 1 exam. Three of the top five candidates were from the state of Telangana, one from Haryana and another from Andhra Pradesh. Telangana's Jasti Yashwanth V V S topped the Mains exam followed by Haryana's Sarthak Maheshwari.
